Scalp Micropigmentation is an easy, affordable hair replication technique, that subtly and gradually recreates your hairline and fills in the blanks on your scalp, to give you the appearance of a full head of closely shaven hair.
How many SMP sessions does it take to build the appearance of perfect hair density? Some businesses will try to sell you several two hour sessions (at $1000 per session), however at Replique we believe in giving the client as much density as possible, in thorough and value for money sessions.
Today I'm introducing you to Robert to show you how you can turn back time with 3 sessions of Scalp Micropigmentation.
Robert
Session one
Session one is an undercoat, like the primer or undercoat done when painting a wall. This base coat covers the colour of the scalp, softening it's appearance. It lays the foundation for additional coats that will be done over the next few sessions.
The before and after shots, from Robert's initial session are impressive. There's a remarkable difference in the contrast of his scalp. The close ups really illustrate the shading created by the scalp tattoo.
"I'd been shaving my head for years, and when I got SMP done, no one even questioned the appearance of new stubble, even though it wasn't there before.

Session two
Session two is essentially the first top coat. In this session we started to build the density and coverage to create a seamless and natural result.
Session three
In Session three we continued to layer and blend the scalp tattoo with Robert's biological follicles, to achieve the realistic appearance of a full head of hair. There is a huge difference in Robert's before and after shoots. We were really happy with the results.
